Lincoln Inn Law College takes an uncompromising approach in establishing strong campus disciplinary standards. A disciplinary committee has been formed and LILC is committed to upholding the highest standards of conduct among its students and instructors.
Lincoln's Inn Law College's guiding principles are honesty, fairness, and humility. In order to attain these goals, students must closely adhere to the following regulations in all of their college activities. Infractions of the code of conduct will result in admission cancellation and automatic rustication from the rolls of the college.

If any student fails to follow the code of conduct; abuses the leniency offered to him, engages in any activity that may lead others astray; or exhibits immoral behavior, we believe it is important to take action against him in order to maintain discipline. Under the following conditions, disciplinary action will be initiated:

  1. Violating any of college rules which are imposed from time to time; organizing any meeting or procession without prior approval.
  2. Using any illegal means during the examination.
  3. Immoral behavior, including as carrying guns (with or without a license) on college grounds.
  4. Prolonged and habitual absence from college.
  5. Attempting to obstruct college academics or administrative matters; or encouraging students to engage in illegal or immoral behavior.
  6. Engaging in any unhealthy behavior.
  7. If a student is found guilty of breaching the discipline in any of the aforementioned ways, the principal has the power to take appropriate action based on the charge.
  1. Respect institutional regulations, maintain excellent behavior, and respect the rights of other students.
  2. Show teachers respect by being truthful and respectful.
  3. Make note of the college's property as well as someone else's valuables.
  4. Maintain considerate behavior towards others.
  5. Take pride in your work. Pay close attention to your academics and never create a problem for a classmate and college.
  1. Every College Student is required to obtain his / her Identity Card from the College.
  2. If an Identity Card is lost, a new one will be issued for a Rs.500/-.
  3. A student must carry his/her Identity Card at all times and produce it upon request of a staff member. Non-availability of the Card can bring about a fine of Rs. 50/-. On-compliance with the command of showing the Identity Card may entail a heavy fine, which will not be remitted.
  4. A student's Identity Card is the College's property. When a student is dropped from the College's rolls or the College Session ends, he or she must hand over his or her Identification Card to the College Administration for record.
  5. No certificate/degree will be awarded unless students return their Identity Cards to the College and clear his/her dues.
  1. Any student who remains absent from classes on account of sickness or any other critical reason, should approve his leave regularly.
  2. The Administrator can approve leave of up to three days.
  3. Leave of any more than three days can be approved the Principal only.
  4. If the leave is approved, the student will be required to complete his/her course work.
  5. Upon absence from a test, the teacher can fine any amount.
T-shirts, jeans, and joggers are forbidden for both male and female students. Students who are not properly dressed may be checked by any college authority.
Male Students
  1. Black Dress Pant / Trousers, White Shirts (Full Sleeves) and College Neck-Tie
  2. Black Shoes and Black Socks
Female Students
  1. White Shalwar-Qamees and Black Hijab/ Scarf
  2. Black Socks and Black Shoes without or with low heels up to 1 inch maximum
  3. Female students are only allowed to wear cotton attires
The use of cameras, cell phones, and other similar devices are absolutely prohibited in classrooms, seminar rooms, libraries, and auditoriums. Those who break the rules will face consequences. The College will confiscate these devices.
Smoking and use of any form of drugs are absolutely forbidden in College. Those who break this rule will face consequences. Any College staff member may conduct a random check on a College student and refer the case to the Disciplinary Committee for a fine.
Even if he has an arms license, no college student may possess any type of weapon. Those who break this regulation will face legal consequences for a fine.

Penalties / Corrective Actions

  1. The Principal has the ultimate power to explain and interpret all rules and regulations enacted for the college's discipline.
  2. The Principal will charge a fine based on the severity of the offence against the student.
  3. Suspension can last for two weeks or more.
  4. Grounded students may also be banned from taking the tests.
  5. A student may be placed under surveillance for up to six months, during which time he / she may be expelled from college if his / her attitude does not improve.
  6. If the charge is proven, the student may be expelled from college, either temporarily or permanently. Such a student is not eligible to take the examination and will lose a minimum of one year of study since he / she will be unable to take the university's examinations. The suspension period would begin when the charge was proven. Once the time period of the punishment has expired, a temporarily suspended student may seek for re-entry in the following academic year; however, entrance is at the discretion of the administration. Neither the student's name nor any dues from him/her will be listed on the college roll call during his/her suspension.
  7. Only the Principal, with the approval of the College Council, has the authority to impose expulsion, re-selection, or other penalties.
